Egypt's press spoke today about security preparation to transfer Mubarak and his sons to Cairo Criminal Court, coinciding with ‘Second Friday of Anger' demonstrations tomorrow.
The press covered difference between various political powers on participating in the Second Friday of Anger.' Around 40 political parties and coalitions will demonstrate while 12 political coalitions and organizations declined among which are the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and the Salafis.
According to Al-Akhbar newspaper, the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) ordered to remove the Mubaraks' names from squares and neighborhoods across Egypt.
Al-Akhbar said the council agreed on allocating the assets of Family Park in New Cairo with the Ministry of Agriculture to finish the project.
Independent newspaper Al-Masry Al-Youm revealed the Minister of Interior Mansour el-Essawi met with Minister of Justice Abdel Aziz al-Gendi to inform him it is dangerous danger to hold Mubarak's trial held in Cairo. El-Essawi predicts there a state of chaos which the police and military force will not be able to control.
Al-Ahram:
Prime Minister Essam Sharaf discussed characteristics of new budget which aim to achieve social justice by giving importance to Education, heath, and unemployment.
Al-Akhbar:
A military general denied that the Military Council knew about the ‘Battle of the Camels' before it happened. He said the SCAF chairman Hussein Tantawi immediately called the former President Hosni Mubarak to find out the matter.
Al-Wafd:
Opposition newspaper Al-Wafd reported there are many scenarios concerning the trials of Mubarak and his sons, whether to hold the trials in Cairo or in Sharm el-Sheikh. Cairo Court of Appeal received lawsuits about Mubarak and his sons likely to face the death penalty.
Al-Masry Al-Youm
National Council for Human rights called for delaying the Parliamentary elections until December due to security chaos, which could lead to impartial elections. Putting the Constitution before elections is necessary. Members also criticized issuing Law of Practicing Political rights.
Al-Dostor
Head of security administration of the Ministry of Education said his ministry cannot cancel secondary school exams as this could harm 800,000 students education.
Al-Gomhoreya
The Mubaraks spent a very critical night when General Prosecutor referred the former President to Criminal Court. The former First Lady felt frustration.
Essam Sharaf discussed with Ahmed Zewail all possible means to start his scientific projects in Egypt.
