The top story covered by all Egyptian press today was the revelation of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces' decision to topple former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak a day before his resignation. Minister of Justice Abd el-Aziz al-Gendi said during his meeting with businessmen in Alexandria that Mubarak was forced to resign. Al-Gendi proved that the military council was in meeting chaired by Hussein Tantawi who announced the military would be with the people. In other news, state-run Al-Ahram said the former president and his wife will cede their fortunes to the Egyptians and will submit other documents not included in the investigation into their fortunes. Al-Ahram added that the Illicit Gain Authority formed a committee to appraise the value of all the Mubaraks' assets. Regarding Suzanne's condition, Egypt's Minister of Heath said she is in good condition after being in the intensive care unit in Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital. In other news, independent Al-Masry Al-Youm reported that former Director General of the U.N.'s nuclear watchdog, Mohamed el-Baradei, called on Twitter for writing a new constitution before holding parliamentary and presidential elections. Al-Dostor reported that a state of panic caught the Daqahleyia Courts after claims that there were strange objects, possibly explosives. Police immediately evacuated two courts which were then surrounded by security.
