ALEXANDRIA, Egypt: Youth in Alexandria have announced on Facebook their call for a million man march on Friday, demanding the dismissal of coroner chief Ahmed al-Sebaee. This demand comes after Sebaee's statement that Khaled Said's death was caused from swallowing a package containing illegal substance, not from police brutality. Nader Khalifa, an organizer of the March, said that they aim at rallying Alexandria's residents to counter the remnants of the former regime among which Al-Sebaee is a part. Khalifa added that a number of Alexandrian youth are also organizing a concert in front of Said's home attempting to convey to Said's family that the youth will not abandon the cause in fighting for the case. Concert organizers have confirmed that Said's mother will be a guest of honor at the party and will deliver a word to express her gratitude for the attention the youth have given to her son's case.
