Kol Israel:
Israel is worried about the Egyptian gas pipeline explosion which greatly affected Tel Aviv by stopping the flow of gas, as gaskets had to be closed until the pipeline is repaired, said senior Israeli political sources.
Yedioth Ahronoth:
A state of panic is prevailing in the Israeli political circle becayse of the approach of ‘Freedom Flotilla 2,' which intends to put an end to Israel's siege of the Gaza strip. Israel is also afraid of defaming its image before the world if there is an unexpected step of violence. Therefore the government plans to discuss the issue Thursday.
Maariv:
Israeli Channel 2 revealed that Minister of Defense Ehud Barak forgot top secret documents in Park Plaza Hotel in Westminster during his last visit to London. Fortunately, and Israeli visitor booked the same room and immediately informed the Israeli Embassy in London when he discovered the documents.
Also, an Israeli national court passed a 4-year sentence to two Egyptians accused of smuggling drugs from Sinai to the Negev. The two Egyptians were arrested on the Egypt-Israel border with 25 kilos of marijuana.
Haartez:
The Israeli Navy is preparing militarily to face the ‘Freedom Flotilla 2' which is headed for the Gaza Strip. The Navy will use various methods to hinder the ship's course without causing violence. A Turkish political official said his government is considering postponing the flotilla's launch until upcoming Turkish elections are finished.
