1,250 tourists arrive in Alexandria

Approximately 1,250 tourists entered the Alexandrian harbor Monday morning from Maltese liner ‘Thomson Celebration.'
“The Alexandria Port Authority cooperated with the General Authority of Tourism Activation and Alexandria Tourism directorate in order to prepare an eventful program for tourists,” said the Chairman of the Alexandria Port Authority, al-Sayed Hamid.
“The program includes visits to monuments around town and the Library of Alexandria. The program also includes all the valuable means for receiving and welcoming the tourists,” he added.
The tourists are scheduled to return back to their liner to continue their voyage to other Mediterranean harbors.
