Amr Zaki has decided to rescind his contract with Elazigspor by relinquishing his overdue payments with the Turkish side, according to the Egypt striker's agent. Zaki, who was transfer-listed by request a month ago, has reiterated his desire to part ways with Elazig after no offers were made to meet the Turkish club's €400,000 price tag on. Despite claiming last month that he is on the verge of sealing a winter switch to Tunisian side Club Africain, the 29-year-old's future is still far from clear. With the closure of the transfer window in Europe by the end of this month, the Bulldozer looks to have made up his mind to leave for free by forfeiting his dues and annulling his three-year deal. Zaki, who joined from Zamalek for a fee of €250,000 in the close season, endured a frustrating spell in Turkey, only featuring for eight games and scoring no goals in the first half of the season.
