Egypt starlet Mohamed Salah dished out two assists to help Basel advance to the Swiss Cup round of 16 with a 4-1 win over lower division Chiasso on Sunday. Salah stamped his mark in as early as the first minute when he set up Fabian Frei with the opener before Jacques Zoua doubled his side's lead 18 minutes later. Chiasso pulled one back but Zoua completed his brace in the 65th minute before Diaz put the game to bed two minutes later, courtesy of another Salah assist. The Egypt international also created his team's sole goal in the 1-0 victory over Hungarian side Videoton to keep alive Basel's hopes of qualifying from the Europa League group stage.
