CAF announced that the second leg of the Champions League final has been put back a week as it would coincide with the Women Championship final. The Champions league last and decisive fixture had been initially scheduled for 9/10/11 November as the Women's final will take place on the last of the three proposed dates. But after the delay, the game is now set for 16/17/18 November. Ahli are the only Egyptian side vying in Africa's top competition as they take on Nigeria's Sunshine Stars in the semi-final away from home on Saturday. Holders Esperance meet four-time champions Mazembe in the other semi-final.
