Ahli star Mohamed Abou-Treika has decided not to take part in Sunday's Super Cup clash against ENPPI as he skipped Friday's training session for ‘personal reasons', the club said “Abou-Treika didn't train with the team on Friday and will not play the Super Cup citing personal reasons behind his decision," Ahli football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz told the club's official website. It is understood that Abou-Treika's stance comes in support of the demands of the Ultras Ahlawy fans, who have been vehemently protesting against the resumption of domestic football before justice is served against culprits of the Port-Said disaster. The hard-core fans, who stormed the FA headquarters few days ago and broke into Ahli's training, are far from satisfied with the progress of the Port-Said calamity case that saw some 74 of their members murdered last February. Domestic action kicks off on Sunday as Ahli take on ENPPI at the Army Stadium in Alexandria, but it remains to be seen how the game will be held amid the firm stance of the ultras.
