QUOTES
Zamalek assistant coach Ismail Youssef
“We have asked the players to do their best to win even though the game is of no importance for us."
Chelsea coach Hans van der Pluijm
“It's going to be a very tough game because we face a great team in its backyard. The mission is difficult especially for us because we go through this game looking for only victory to keep our semifinal qualification dreams alive.
“Zamalek will go through the game without as much pressure on their players as will be on ours. We have more pressure on our shoulders because we must win to stay in the hunt for qualification."
TEAM NEWS
Zamalek are facing a severe scarcity in attack as the unsettled Razak Omotoyossi has been absent from training and was omitted while Ahmed Gaafar is suspended.
This leaves manager Jorvan Vieira with Burkinabe Abdoulaye Cisse as the only fit and recognized forward in possession.
Key midfielder Nour Al-Sayed is still out injured but unsettled full-back Mohamed Abdul-Shafi is available again after missing the previous two games.
Chelsea could reinstall international keeper Ernest Sowah in goal after he was dropped to the bench in the previous draw with Ahli.
