Egypt coach Bob Bradley will meet with Ahli and Zamalek management to enquire about the availability of internationals amid of the Cairo duo's continental commitments. The Egypt squad are due to fly to Lebanon to play a couple of friendlies by the end of March, while both Ahli and Zamalek have Champions League fixtures before and after the international camp. “We will have two meetings with the coaching staff of Ahli and Zamalek in order to discuss which players we can select for Lebanon and Chad friendlies,” Egypt assistant coach Diaa Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com. “An agreement should be made on the return date of players ahead of their club's continental commitments.” Ahli will open their Champions League campaign against Ethiopian Coffee on March 23, whereas Zamalek host Africa Sport of Ivory Coast two days later. The second legs are expected to take place early in April.
