S. Africa replace Libya as CAN 2013 hosts

South Africa have been named as the host nation of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations instead of Libya, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) said.
The decision comes due to the political turmoil taking place in Libya in the meantime.
However, CAF decided to hand Libya the opportunity of staging the Nations Cup in 2017 as Morocco will be the host nation of the 2015 finals.
Gabon and Equatorial Guinea will co-host the tournament next year as the finals will be staged in odd years starting from 2013.
