Zambia midfielder Felix Katongo has joined Zamalek training ahead of a summer transfer, the Cairo club said. Zamalek's website stated that the 28-year-old, who is contracted to Libya's Ittihad Tripoli, will begin a trial at the club this week. Katongo is a regular for Zambia, having represented the Chipolopolo over 40 times since 2004. The pacey midfielder, who is the younger brother of Zambia captain Christopher Katongo, scored the equalizer for his nation against Egypt in a 1-1 draw in the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations. Zamalek already have two foreigners in Ivorian Abou Kone and Mohamed Aoudia of Algeria, while Iraq striker Emad Mohamed is almost certain to leave this summer.
