Ahli could regain the services of striker Emad Meteb in the match against ENPPI this week, following a lengthy layoff. The Egypt striker has been out of action since January due to a rib fracture, but has now become available for selection. “Meteb is available and can play, but the manager only decides on his participation in matches,” Ahli football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz told the club's website. Ahli coach Manuel Jose has not been deploying a regular forward since returning in January as Mauritanian Dominique da Silva, Osama Hosni and Geddo have been exchanging places. Meteb, who made a controversial return to Ahli from Standard Liege in the winter break, was the league champions' top scorer last season with nine goals.
