Mido is hoping to become the first footballer to win the Dutch and Egyptian league titles in one season after considering himself part of Ajax's recent Eredivisie triumph. The Egypt international striker missed Ajax's league celebrations at the weekend after leaving the Dutch giants in December to re-join old club Zamalek. However, Mido believes he had contributed to the Amsterdammers' achievement after scoring a couple of crucial goals during his spell at the club this term as he now looks forward to another challenge. “I hope to help Zamalek win the league this season. I want to become the first player to win the Egyptian and Dutch league titles in the same season!” Mido told FilGoal.com. Registration setback Mido's Zamalek return had taken a huge setback though after it was discovered that his registration was not completed by the Cairo club in the wake of the January 25 Revolution. But the former Tottenham striker still holds hope of making his returning debut for the Whites this term. “The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will make a decision on my case in two weeks and I hope it rules in my favor so that I can play for Zamalek soon,” the 27-year-old added. “But even if another verdict was given, I could be registered in June and thus I can be able to catch a few matches at the end of the season.” Zamalek are currently in charge of the league table with 43 points, one ahead of defending champions Ahli.
