Swiss coach Geiger leaves Masri

Masri have rescinded the contract of Swiss coach Alain Geiger as assistant Tarek Al-Sawi has been appointed interim manager.
“Chairman Kamel Abou-Ali reached a mutual termination agreement with Geiger and the coach has returned to his homeland,” Masri GM Mohsen Sheta told FilGoal.com.
“Assistant coach Al-Sawi will be in charge of the team until the end of the season.”
Geiger's departure has been looming in the wake of the recent unrest that put the domestic league competition on hold for over two months.
The Swiss coach succeeded Mokhtar Mokhtar by the end of last year, but only led the coastal club in one league game.
