Ahli offloaded Lebanese striker Mohamed Ghaddar on Wednesday in order to empty a slot for another foreign player, the Cairo club said on their official site. Ghaddar, 27, joined the Red Devils in the close season only to make very few appearances in the Egyptian Premier League. Ahli are seeking to sign a foreign hitman in the January transfer window. The defending champions recently revealed they are in talks with Malian striker Mohamed Traore over a winter transfer from Tunisia's Club Africain.
