Al-Badri set to be appointed coach of Sudan's Merreikh

Former Ahli coach Hossam Al-Badri is close to finalizing talks with Sudanese side Merreikh to become their new coach, a source close to him said.
The 50-year-old might pen a deal with Merreikh on Friday, the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com.
Al-Badri resigned from his post as Ahli coach following the team's 3-1 defeat at bitter rivals Ismaili last month.
The Red Devils' angry fans chanted against him following the game and called for his departure.
The club said they intended to hold onto him but he insisted to leave 'to avoid deteriorating his relationship with the supporters'.
Al-Badri left Ahli after leading them to the Egyptian Premier League title last season.
He snubbed an offer to coach Port Said-based club Masri before opting for a Sudanese switch.
