Real Madrid overwhelmed minnows Racing Santander 6-1 in a La Liga match that saw Cristiano Ronaldo hit four goals on Saturday. Gonzalo Higuain opened the scoring after ten minutes and the Portuguese Wizard doubled Real's lead on the quarter-hour mark. Fully-fit Ronaldo scored three more goals on 27, 48 and 55 minutes before Mesut Ozil hit a sixth for the hosts in the 64th minute. Papa Kouli Diop scored the consolation goal for Santander 16 minutes from time.
