Mido regrets throwing pair of scissors at Ibrahimovic
Published in FilGoal on 18 - 10 - 2010

Mido conceded that he had a 'short fuse' during his first spell at Ajax Amsterdam in the early 2000s, saying he shouldn't have thrown a pair of scissors at his then teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Egyptian nomad, who rejoined Ajax in the summer of 2010 after plying his trade at a host of clubs, made his name with the Dutch giants when he was just a teenager.
The 27-year-old was much fitter at the time but he came across as a troublemaker on many occasions.
Apart from repeatedly falling out with coach Ronald Koeman, Mido tried to assault AC Milan star Ibrahimovic after an argument between both towering strikers.
It was said that the pair of scissors narrowly missed Ibra's head.
"In my first period at Ajax, I had a very short fuse. I tended to react too emotionally and made mistakes that I would not repeat," he was quoted by NU Sport as saying.

"For example, I did not have to throw a pair of scissors at Zlatan Ibrahimovic or make problems with Koeman."
Mido, who struggled long with fitness problems, made his first Ajax appearance this season in the 3-0 league victory over NAC Breda on Saturday.
He was warmly welcomed at Amsterdam Arena when he came on as a substitute late in the second half.
"The fans gave me this warm welcome for my past at Ajax. That puts pressure on me," Mido stated. "I want to ensure that they also love the present Mido.
"The first phase was completely dedicated to getting fit, losing a kilo or eight. In phase two I should play football."
