Liverpool are on the brink of being without a recognized left-back after agreeing to sell Emiliano Insua to Fiorentina. "A deal has been struck with Fiorentina, we wish him well for the rest of his career and thank him for his time spent at Liverpool," said new boss Roy Hodgson. "I am expecting him to join Fiorentina next week." The Reds, who released Fabio Aurelio last month, will surely be in the market for a new full-back to fill in the left flank for the new season. Insua, 21, has been first-choice left-back for former manager Rafa Benitez during the previous season.
