Ahli out-of-favor striker Ahmed Belal revealed he is in talks with Zamalek over a free-transfer move in the summer. The 30-year-old, who runs out of contract in July, is set to leave Ahli after being deemed as surplus to the requirements of manager Hossam Al-Badri. He is believed to be on the radar of newly-promoted Smouha, but claims that Zamalek have also entered the race to sign him. "Negotiations with Zamalek are in progress, but nothing has been agreed yet," Belal told FilGoal.com. Belal has been struggling to play regular football with Ahli during Manuel Jose's reign and things haven't improved for him after Al-Badri had taken charge last year. The Egypt international scored once for Ahli last term, courtesy of a final day winner against Military Production.
