Ahli skipper Ahmed Al-Sayed has penned a two-year extension to his contract with the club, the Egyptian champions said. "Al-Sayed agreed to sign the contract without any conditions. It was only delayed because he wanted to focus on the league campaign," said Ahli director Hadi Khashaba. Ahli, who drew 3-3 with arch-rivals Zamalek at the weekend, have all but secured a sixth straight league title as they need one point from their remaining four matches. Al-Sayed missed the Zamalek game with an ankle injury, has returned to the Ahli squad for the weekend's Champions League visit to Ittihad of Tripoli. The 29-year-old center-half has been with the Red Devils since 2001.
