Germany striker Kevin Kuranyi is unlikely to extend his contract with Schalke at the end of the season, manager Felix Magath has confirmed. "His contract is set to end and he'll be able to earn more in a different League,” Magath said. "I imagine that he has already received a few offers which we as a club would be unable to compete with." Kuranyi, who hit 18 Bundesliga goals so far this term, is reportedly on the shortlist of Champions League hopefuls Juventus.
