Zamalek defender Mahmoud Fathallah's facial injury needed two stitches but it's not deemed serious, according to club doctor Mostafa Al-Monayeri. The Egypt defender sustained the injury in Zamalek's 2-1 league win at Ittihad on Monday. "This injury won't prevent Fathallah from participating in the regular training sessions," Al-Monayeri told FilGoal.com. Fathallah had a severe cut right below his right eye after he was inadvertently caught in the face by striker Mohamed Al-Morsi's boot during an on-ball challenge. The 28-year-old, who was bleeding heavily, received treatment outside the pitch before making way for Ahmed Magdi.
