Bayern Munich went level on points with Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen after defeating Wolfsburg 3-1 on Saturday. In-form Dutch winger Arjen Robben needed two minutes to give them the lead with a low shot from inside the area for his third goal in consecutive games. Belgian defender Daniel van Buyten added the second in the 26th minute with a header. An own goal by Andrea Barzagli 12 minutes after the restart completed Bayern's eighth successive win. "We began very well, but after taking a 2-0 lead we lost our concentration too easily," Bayern coach Louis van Gaal said after the game. "That was unfortunate - we gave Wolfsburg too many chances to score, but the result was of course very good for us." Bayern have 45 points from 21 games, just like Leverkusen who were held to a 1-1 draw by lowly VfL Bochum.
