Altintop joins Frankfurt

Schalke have loaned out striker Halil Altintop to Eintracht Frankfurt until the end of the season, the latter said on Thursday.
"I can hardly wait to play," Altintop said after signing a contract with the Bundesliga side.
"For me it is like a new start given that in the last six months at Schalke I hardly played."
Altintop, a Turkey international, is the twin brother of Bayern Munich midfielder Hamit.
