Egyptian FA president Samir Zaher demanded security guarantees from Angolan authorities after the bus of Togo's football team was attacked on Friday. Gunmen opened fire on Togo's bus in the city of Cabinda, an exclave of Angola, to kill the driver and wound several players, two days ahead of the African Cup of Nations (CAN). "I don't want special protection for Egypt, but all the teams should be protected well," Zaher told FilGoal.com by telephone. "I demand the Angolan government and the local organizing committee take whatever measures are necessary to ensure all the teams are safe. "Things are not very stable in Angola and the Togo incident is not a minor one." Egypt's delegation arrived in Angola on Friday morning as the Pharaohs, holders of the previous two CAN editions, seek to win an unprecedented third successive title. They open their campaign against Nigeria on Tuesday in Group C that also includes minnows Mozambique and Benin.
