Manchester City boss Mark Hughes was left livid after his Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger refused to make a routine hand-shake after the Citizens' 3-0 cup win on Wednesday. "At one point I was over on his side of the technical area and he seemed to be a bit aggrieved by that," Hughes said after the match in Manchester. "But I think he is probably more aggrieved because he got beaten. "I have been to the Emirates Stadium and been beaten 6-2 but I still offered my hand at the end. It is the least you can do. "I am a little bit disappointed in that respect. You should be a bit more gracious than that because it is unnecessary. We all hurt when we get beaten. No-one is more upset than me. But you should always offer your hand." Free In response to Hughes' criticism, Wenger boldly indicated that he is not obliged to shake the opposition manager's hands. "I am free to shake whose hand I want. I had no professional courtesy to shake his hand. I've nothing more to say on that," said the Frenchman in the Sun. It is the second time this term that Hughes has beaten Wenger's side, following a heavy 4-2 Premiership victory for City back in September.
