Egypt technical staff refused to confirm whether or not Hosni Abd-Rabou will be a fit to feature for the Pharaohs in their curial World Cup qualifier against Algeria next Saturday. The Ahli Dubai midfielder sustained an ankle injury in a UAE league game last week to raise doubts over his ability to play in the crunch qualifying meeting. Abd-Rabou should have learnt fate by Saturday, all the same, the coaching staff members remain coy over his condition. It was only announced on the Egyptian FA's official website that the 25-year-old has started his rehab, but mentioned nothing about his chances to catch the anticipated game. On the other hand, Middlesbrough midfielder Mohamed Shawky and Eskisehirspor defender Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa will join Egypt's training camp on Sunday. Borussia Dortmund striker Mohamed Zidan will be the last to arrive, as he will get back home on Monday.
