Roberto Carlos is ready to rejoin Real Madrid and play for free in the second half of the season, the Brazilian left-back said. The 36-year-old left Spanish giants Real, where he enjoyed a highly-successful nine-year-spell, in the summer of 2007 to join Turkish side Fenerbahce. "I would be prepared to play six months in Madrid without pay," he was quoted as saying by Spanish newspaper AS. "From January to June and who knows maybe I could stay around a year more." Roberto Carlos, who scored 62 goals in 475 appearances for Real, won four Primera Liga and three Champions League titles with Los Merengues. "I spent some marvellous years in Madrid, I won everything and I consider it my home," he added.
