Military Production's Premier League game against ENPPI, which was scheduled for Sunday, has been postponed for an indefinite period, the Egyptian FA said on Saturday. The FA's decision comes due to the unavailability of stadiums, which are busy hosting the U-20 World Cup that began on September 24th and will last until October 16th. The FA competitions committee initially wanted to stage the game at Tersana Stadium because Production's Al-Salam venue was being revamped to hold the World Cup games. However, promoted Production refused to play away from their stadium. The committee then made a second attempt to stick to the match's date by asking ENPPI to host the game at Petrosport Stadium but the petroleum club turned down their request. League games are halted during the World Cup duration but the likes of Production, ENPPI and Harras Hodoud were due to play their re-arranged matches within that period. ENPPI and Hodoud had several games postponed due to their participation in the African Confederation Cup.
