Two-time World Player of the Year Ronaldinho rubbished reports saying he is considering retiring from football. Spanish paper Sport claimed on Sunday that the Brazilian playmaker was ready to hang up his boots. But he insisted such a notion never crossed his mind. "Contrary to what Spanish newspaper SPORT published in its September 2009 issue, I have never considered retiring," Ronaldinho said in a statement on his official website. "The news is frivolous and comes from a sensationalist newspaper. Football is and always has been a source of joy to me. I am very happy to be in Milan playing for AC Milan, just as I was happy in all the other cities and clubs before. "I'm a firm believer in criticism, whether positive or negative, as long as it based on founded and true facts. Publishing false information, on the other hand, is unacceptable." Ronaldinho has struggled for fitness and form since joining Milan from Spanish giants Barcelona last summer. He has yet to regain the form that saw him win FIFA's World Player of the Year award in 2004 and 2005.
