Mido quashed claims of a rift between Zamalek coach Henri Michel and playmaker Shikabala, following the latter's exclusion from the Gaish match. Shikabala was expected to return from injury against the military side on Thursday, but Michel opted not to rush the 23-year-old to action by ruling him out. It was reported though that Shikabala refused to be on the bench, which frustrated Michel, but Mido was quick to refute the allegations. "What was reported that Shikabala is in a dispute with Michel is total nonsense," the Egypt striker told FilGoal.com. "Michel decided to exclude Shikabala because he wanted him ready for the game against Ismaili next week. "Shikabala himself preferred not to play because he isn't 100% fit. He is one of the most disciplined players in the team."
