Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson has told striker Michael Owen to wait for his first-team chance. The England international is down the pecking at Old Trafford, behind regular strikers Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov. But Ferguson insists that Owen has a place in the team as United get ready to face Besiktas in the Champions League. "Michael hasn't been involved, and I've explained that to him," said the Scotsman. "The season hasn't really started - and because of the internationals we haven't been playing Saturday and Wednesday, as we normally would. "So Michael doesn't really come into the equation, because we're still trying to get the blend between Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov."
