Nigeria's Kano Pillars made a historic berth to the CAF Champions League semi-finals after beating ZESCO United of Zambia 3-2. Pillars, who shockingly ousted holders Ahli in the knockout stage, came back twice from a goal down to win the Group A game at home. The result also meant that Hilal of Sudan are through to the last four after beating local rivals Merreikh 3-1 on Friday. In Group B, Etoile Sahel and Mazembe vie for the remaining ticket to the semis after Heartland of Nigeria have already booked their place.
