Egypt goalkeeping coach Ahmed Soliman believes that Essam Al-Hadari puts in far better performances with Egypt than with Ismaili. The former Ahli shot-stopper was praised for his impressive display in the Pharaohs' 1-0 win at Rwandan in the World Cup qualifying stage. "Al-Hadari always excels with Egypt, he produces brilliant displays on the international stage regardless of his club form," Soliman told Egyptian radio after the game. The 36-year-old conceded six goals in the Egyptian Premier League opening three matches, to raise concerns ahead of the Saturday's match. However, he maintained a clean sheet against Rwanda to help the African champions seal a narrow victory. "The fans should support Al-Hadari and all his teammates more than ever. The players need to increase their self-confidence because the upcoming qualifiers will be crucial," Soliman added.
