ENPPI lose again in CAF Cup
Published in FilGoal on 02 - 08 - 2009

ENPPI have succumbed to their second straight defeat in the CAF Confederation Cup, losing 4-3 to ES Setif in Cairo on Sunday.
Following their 1-0 defeat at Angola's Santos last month, ENPPI are now bottom of Group A with zero points, Setif have six points on top.
The Algerian champions were inspired by an excellent performance from striker Abdul-Malek Ziaya, who scored two and set up one goal at Petrosport Stadium.
Ziaya broke the deadlock in the 12 minute with an explosive finish, but Mozambican defender Mano leveled for ENPPI four minutes later when he headed in Ahmed Al-Muhammadi's corner.

Al-Muhammadi: One goal, one assist
The hosts took the lead in the 36th minute through a fine shot from the edge of the area by new signing Nader Al-Ashri.
However, Setif's Fahem Bouazza brought the score level again with a well-placed freekick on 52 minutes, before Ziaya applied another cool finish to restore the visitors' lead in the 62nd minute.
Four minutes later, Ziaya turned provider when he dished out a superb backheel assist to Hocine Metref, who easily scored the fourth.
In the 77th minute, Egypt winger Al-Muhammadi pulled one back for ENPPI, heading in Abdul-Aziz Tawfik's corner.
ENPPI's third game will be against Vita Club of DR Congo on August 16th after they open the Egyptian Premier League against Zamalek next week.
