Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola hinted on Friday that his side were unlikely to sign more players in the close season. The Spanish and European champions brought in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Brazilian full-back Maxwell and highly-rated youngster Keirrison so far this summer. Their arch-rivals Real Madrid, on the other hand, spent big to lure the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Karim Benzema to Santiago Bernabeu. "The market is open but very complicated," Guardiola was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. "All the signings are very expensive and one of the options is that there won't be any more reinforcements. "That wise man Sir Alex Ferguson was definitely right when he said that this isn't a year to sign."
