Samuel Eto'o's agent says Barcelona and Inter Milan have nearly agreed a part-exchange deal that will see the Cameroon ace move to San Siro and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the opposite direction. Both clubs have been in talks for quite a while over the anticipated swap, and now the deal is about to be wrapped up. Eto'o's representative Josep Maria Mesalles has met with Inter officials to go through the personal terms, and he believes the transfer could be concluded soon. "The discussions are going well but now we're trying to iron out the little details," Mesalles told reporters.
Ibrahimovic "There will be no more meetings today (Tuesday), I'm going back to Spain but maybe I'll come back again tomorrow (Wednesday)." La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Eto'o is looking forward to joining the Nerazzurri, and holds out much hope of leading the Serie A giants to a UEFA Champions League triumph. Inter haven't won the continental trophy since 1965, while the 28-year-old has lifted it twice with the Catalans in 2006 and 2009.
