Petrojet boss Mokhtar Mokhtar has backtracked on his decision to release Hisham Al-Noubi, after the club's board urged him to keep hold of the experienced defender. Early this month, the former Ahli assistant coach announced that the 33-year-old was no longer part of the Suez outfit. But Al-Noubi is now set for another Petrojet spell, as he has penned a new deal with the petroleum side and joined their training camp. "The exclusion of Al-Noubi from the provisional squad was Mokhtar's decision," Petrojet official Tarek Hamed told FilGoal.com. "We talked it over with the technical staff, and the player is going to be added in the second list, which Mokhtar should send to the Egyptian FA midway through July. "Al-Noubi has already signed a new contract and joined our pre-season preparatory camp currently held in Alexandria." Petrojet are playing a series of warm-up games in the preparation of next season. Their first friendly will be against newly-promoted team Military Production on Monday.
