Ittihad have decided to rescind the contract of their newcomer Mahmoud Abdul-Rahman, who joined the coastal side on a season-long loan from Police Union last month, FilGoal.com understands. The Alexandria side paid the out-of-favor striker EGP 100,000, and another 250,000 for Police to complete the signing. Now Abdul-Rahman is set to return the loan-deal fee to Ittihad, and hope for another offer in the close season. The 24-year-old scored only once last season with Police, and was kept on the fringes most of the time. Apart from Abdul-Rahman's contract termination, Ittihad are keeping tabs on a Nigerian hitman. Taha Basri's side are also targeting another frontman, who's of mixed Egyptian and Swedish parentage. Both strikers are set to undergo a trial at Ittihad in the immediate future.
