Ahli coach Hossam Al-Badri said that the club's international players will not be taking part in the pre-season training camp currently held in Germany. Wael Gomaa, Sayed Moawad and Mohamed Abou-Treika are with the Egypt squad which will face Rwanda in the World Cup qualifications on July 5th. Al-Badri, who was recently appointed as Manuel Jose's successor said that rather than joining their teammates in Germany, the trio will be given a week off after the Rwanda clash. "The internationals will wait for the team's preparations for the Egyptian Super Cup in Cairo before taking part in the Wembley Cup," Al-Badri confirmed. Egyptian Premier League champions Ahli will face Egyptian Cup holders Harras Hodoud in the Super Cup on July 21st. Alongside Barcelona, Celtic and Tottenham, Ahli will be participating in a pre-season friendly tournament to be held at London's Wembley stadium between July 24th and 26th.
