Abd-Rabou scores as Ahli win UAE league

Hosni Abd-Rabou scored an early opener in Ahli's 3-1 win at Shabab on Sunday to help his team claim the UAE League title and secure an automatic FIFA Club World Cup spot.
Egypt midfielder Abd-Rabou, who took his overall tally this season to 12 goals, put his side ahead on seven minutes, before Brazilian ace Bare doubled the lead three minutes later.
Abbas ensured the visitors' superiority on 45 minutes, nine minutes after Ahli's Faisal Khalil scored an own-goal.
Ahli were crowned champions after finishing the season on top of the table with 55 points, only one ahead of closest rivals Jazeera, who beat Ajman 4-1 on the same day.
Now Ahli are looking forward to taking part in the Club World Cup, which is hosted in the UAE in December.
