Nasr defender favours Ahli over Zamalek

Ahli are on the verge of signing sweeper Mohamed Khalaf from Nasr, according to the second division club's spokesman.
The 23-year-old was targeted by Ahli and Zamalek, who both made official contact with Nasr over the player.
However, spokesman Abdul-Nasser Zidan told FilGoal.com that the player rejected Zamalek's approach and showed a strong desire to join the Red Devils.

"We have officially accepted Ahli's offer upon Khalaf's request."

"We wanted EGP 3million for the player but Ahli's initial offer was 750 thousand. Nonetheless, I'm sure the two parties can reach an agreement around one or 1.5 million."
Nasr were on the verge of gaining promotion from the second division this season, before Military Production beat them to the Egyptian Premier League in the final weeks.
