Real Madrid presidential candidate Eduardo Garcia claims that if he wins the club's summer elections, he will bring Chelsea striker Didier Drogba to Santiago Bernabeu. Garcia will be running against former president Florentino Perez, who was famous for creating the unsuccessful Galacticos Real, which failed to win any silverware for four years. Both candidates started firing promises of bringing world class stars to Real, and Garcia is confident that the Drogba deal will go ahead should he be the next president.

"We could present him just after being elected. With people like Drogba we are looking for immediate results." According to AS, the other two players promised by Garcia are Palmeiras playmaker Keirrison and Real Santander defender Ivan Marcano.
