Ahli football committee decided to hold the team's pre-season training camp in Germany. The Red Devils' official website announced that the preparatory camp is scheduled to start on June 22nd. Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri said the coaching staff picked that timing to give the team enough time before the competitions get underway. The Cairo giants are now in second place in the Egyptian Premier League table on 54 points, with three matches to go. Ismaili are three points clear on top, and have only a couple of matches to see the season through. The Dervishes will face Ahli in a decisive game if both teams remain tied on equal points till the end of the term, as their head-to-head meetings this season don't favor either side.
