Arab Contractors and Gaish have soothed their Egyptian Premier League relegation worries after sealing victories over Tersana and Masri respectively on Tuesday. The Mountain Wolves condemned Tersana to a 3-1 loss to move up to 11th spot with 33 points, while the Hammers remained on 23 points in penultimate place in the 16-team table. Amr Samaka put the visitors ahead after 11 minutes, before Contractors fiercely replied, courtesy of strikes from Samuel Kyere, Reda Al-Weeshi and Ihab Al-Masri on 21, 45 and 90 minutes. Former Ahli playmaker Samaka was stretchered off on 75 minutes after dislocating his shoulder, and was hospitalized shortly after. Elsewhere, Gaish claimed a 1-0 win at Masri, thanks to Ernest Papa Arko's winner on 33 minutes. The Ghanaian is now topping the league scoring charts with a tally of 12 goals. On registering the narrow win, Gaish advanced to ninth place with 34 points, while 10th-placed Masri remained on 33.
