Al-Hadari issues Sion ultimatum
Published in FilGoal on 08 - 04 - 2009

Egypt goalie Essam Al-Hadari decided not to play for Sion again unless chairman Christian Constantin 'lives up to his promises'.
The 36-year-old keeper has suddenly flown to Egypt without giving any excuses to his club's officials, and later on he revealed his reservations about several aspects.
"I don't feel comfortable at Sion, they are facing difficult circumstances and numerous managerial problems have popped up all of a sudden," he told FilGoal.com.
However, he assured that personal issues were the reason why he traveled back home without permission.
"I went to Egypt because my father is sick, but I won't get back to Switzerland unless Christian Constantin fulfills his long-made promises to me," he elaborated.
According to the former Ahli guardian, Constantin gave him his word on January that he will increase his wage.
However, the international guardian said the chief was not exactly a man of his word.
Al-Hadari was benched with Sion for the first time in the 1-1 home draw with Lucerne four days ago, which indicated that he's at loggerheads with the club's officials.
Shortly after, 'Le Matin' reported he was excluded from the starting eleven because the technical staff was unhappy with his late arrival at the club, following Egypt's 1-1 draw with Zambia in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers final phase.
Sion are close to the Swiss Super League relegation mire, lying in eighth place with 25 points.
