Agogo to quit Zamalek, reports 'inhuman' treatment to FIFA

Junior Agogo began the process of terminating his contract with Zamalek after he officially contacted FIFA in his dispute with the Cairo club.
The Ghanaian was involved in a host of problems with Zamalek recently, varying between unpaid wages, absence from training and disciplinary sanctions.
Subsequently, Agogo revealed that his terrible spell with the White Knights is about to come to an end.
Inhuman Treatment
"Finally I have reached the limit and I have no option but to leave this club whose management members have been so dishonest," Agogo told Ghanasoccernet.com.
"My lawyers have written to Zamalek abrogating my contract and we have duly reported the club to FIFA over this issue.
"I used all the channels available including the Egyptian FA to try to solve the problem with the club and they were not helpful.
"I have not been treated with respect that should be accorded to any human being and their actions have been well documented to FIFA.
"The days of unquestioning obedience to the Zamalek board are over and they will answer to FIFA on how they treated me."
Lies
Agogo responded to Zamalek's claims that he is absent from training without permission, insisting that he had informed the club of his exit plans.
The 29-year-old accused Zamalek officials of making use of his poor Arabic language to give a bad impression to the Egyptian media about him.
"This is one of the many lies perpetrated by some officials of the club to make me unpopular in the eyes of the public," he added.
"My lawyers wrote to them last week Wednesday informing them of my decision to leave Cairo and report them to FIFA yet they put this out.
"This is just one example of how they have used the media in Egypt to paint me black and because I can't read Arabic they get away with it. Not any more."
Agogo, who joined Zamalek from Nottingham Forrest last summer, has gradually lost his place in the Ghana squad, amid his turbulent stint in Cairo.
The muscular frontman has only scored four goals for the five-time African champions, who paid EGP 6million for his services last year.
